Nooks and Crannies


Inspired by Auspic Paper's “NT RASHA Paper”, its paper characteristics—dense, soft to the touch, and imbued with a solid firmness—set the tone. The scent impression of paper often evokes notes of age, dampness, and a hint of toasted bread, mingled with the aroma of ink, creating an image of time momentarily suspended.



Building upon the essence of paper, the imagination extends to a moss-covered volcano, merging the dampness of nature with the searing heat of volcanic activity. This fusion gives rise to a crisp, dark, and rational atmosphere. The fragrance feels like fresh pages layered over vast landscapes, crafting a multi-faceted olfactory vision.






 





The top notes make a bold impression, opening with the fresh bitterness of bergamot, soon joined by the spicy accents of clove and black pepper, adding a sharp, stimulating edge reminiscent of volcanic smoke and sulfur’s pungent collision. The refined warmth of cardamom and the metallic coolness of saffron follow, evoking the austere essence of cooled lava and metallic minerals.


The heart notes guide the senses deeper into the damp world of moss and lichen. Cypress and Virginia cedarwood construct a verdant, shadowy forest atmosphere, like stepping onto an ancient, moss-covered landscape.


The base centers on a smoky and resinous richness. Frankincense and sandalwood introduce soft woody warmth, blending seamlessly with the charred intensity of birch tar. Finally, musk and tonka bean lend a subtle warmth to the overall composition, balancing the metallic and mossy coolness with a touch of comforting depth.
